Current Volunteer Opportunities

We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to contribute their time and talents in the following roles:

Role #1

Social Media Coordinator (Volunteer)

Help us spread the message of Philosophical Entertainment by managing and growing our social media presence. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging content (from our shows), interacting with our audience, and driving traffic to our podcast episodes and website.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy
  • Create and post content across various platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Engage with our community and respond to comments/messages
  • Track and analyze engagement metrics to optimize performance
  • Staying in regular communication with the team

Qualifications:

  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A passion for philosophy, podcasting, or self-improvement content

Role #2

Audio/Video Editor (Volunteer)

Are you a wizard with audio and video editing software? We’re seeking someone to assist with editing our podcast episodes, creating promo videos, and ensuring that our content is polished and professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and enhance podcast audio & video files
  • Create video promos and other multimedia content
  • Creating episode clips and highlights
  • Uploading content to our server
  • Staying in regular communication with the team

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with audio/video editing tools (Descript)
  • Attention to detail and creativity
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Role #3

Marketing Specialist (Volunteer)

Are you a creative thinker with a knack for storytelling and strategy? We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist to help expand the reach of Philosophical Entertainment, attract new listeners, and build strong relationships with potential sponsors and partners. This role is perfect for someone who wants to blend purpose-driven work with real-world marketing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine marketing strategies to grow our audience and increase engagement
  • Identify and connect with potential collaborators, sponsors, and partners
  • Assist in the creation of email campaigns, promotional materials, and press kits
  • Support brand development across all platforms (website, podcast directories, social media)
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights for continuous improvement
  • Stay in regular communication with the team

Qualifications:

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Comfortable with outreach, networking, and audience analysis
  • Passion for philosophy, creative media, or mission-driven storytelling
